LPN Procedures

Prospective students interested in admission will perform the following procedure:

1. Applicants complete an initial application to provide pertinent background information.

2. The Program Administrator interviews each applicant to evaluate goals, expectations and to determine the program of study meets the applicant’s interest, educational level and personal circumstance.

3. Each applicant will take a tour of the school which will include an opportunity to meet faculty and staff.

4. An entrance exam, as described in the Admissions Requirements, is required, and students who achieve a passing score will be considered for admission.

5. Personal Essay.  This must be typed and answering the following questions:

Why I wish to become an LPN?

Why is now a good time to pursue my education? 

6. The applicant meets with the Director and Business Manager to develop a plan for financing their education, including a personal payment plan, if necessary.

7. The student will receive written notification of acceptance from the school by an authorized representative of the school, via email.

8. An enrollment agreement is completed and signed by both the student and a school representative. The enrollment agreement contains the details of the student’s enrollment including the program of study, start and end dates, tuition and fees, payment plan, and other necessary information. The student will pay the background/UDS fee at this time directly to CastleBranch.  A separate seat deposit is required within 10 days of being notified of the results and formal acceptance.

9. After enrollment the student must complete and submit the required health form, proof of immunizations, and 2-step PPD prior to the start of class. Covid-19 vaccination is not mandatory, however the flu vaccination or medical exemption is required.
